I remember how tight this H&M shirt was across the chest when I bought it, but a few weeks into my @ww journey in 2017 I felt confident enough to wear it for the first time. .

Fun fact I actually got engaged the night I took that picture in the left, but I was in sweaty gym clothes! More on that in a few weeks on our engagement anniversary.

Awesome afternoon catching up while hiking 6.75 miles with my bestie! I was able to find us a great spot to meet up halfway between us thanks to hikingproject(dot)com.

This was a perfect warm up for the Urban Hiking class that I’m teaching again that starts on Saturday!

Weight loss really is a LIFE LONG commitment – it doesn’t care how hard or how long you worked in the past. It’s all about the PRESENT. Mileage is the same brand of fickle bitch – if you don’t keep it up it goes away.

Pre-Dawn Run

I went to bed at 10:15 last night then sat up at 1:30am and couldn’t sleep for like an hour. I managed to get back to bed and then got up at 4am got dressed, put on my flasher light, grabbed the dog and picked my ipod playlist. Headed out and my ipod FROZE. I didn’t have the time to screw around with it so I ran sans ipod this morning. I only saw a few cars, but mainly it was silent aside from the buzzing of streetlights, my own breath and the pitter patter of Freddie’s paws.

I HAD to haul ass because I was meeting people at 5:15am. From my observation of the time I’m pretty sure I ran the 4 miles in 39-40 minutes.

I’m so glad I went. I feel good and drove the first 4 hour shift of the drive. I am now sitting shot gun and hoping to squeeze in a nap before we get to baton rouge.
