After a weekend with a few glasses of wine and bites of dark chocolate I wanted to jump on the scale this morning.

Current weight: 186.6

Total Lost: 36 pounds

I dropped 3 pounds since Wednesday! And now I can use my Nike+ ipod sensor which I am excited about (35lbs reward)! Aside from wine and dark chocolate I ate really well this weekend. I took Friday and Saturday off exercise wise for my body to rest and then did 6 miles yesterday – I had every intention to do 10 miles, but it was SO humid and the route I picked didn’t have as many sidewalks as I hoped. I really try not to run in the street and therefore it threw me off.

Heading out in a little bit to meet my coworkers newborn son that her and her husband adopted. They spent 2 weeks in Arizona for his birth and all the paperwork to clear. He is such a blessing and I’m so happy for them!!

However I haven held a newborn since my cousin and she’s starting college this year!

Closet Purge

I’ve been purging my closet of clothes every month for the past few months to get rid of the stuff that’s too big. Sadly some really cute clothes that I’ve NEVER worn or wore only a few times are now too big. It especially sucks when you bought the clothes when you could barely fit them and now I’m swimming in them. I missed my window to wear them. As much as it bums me that I’ll never wear such cute pieces, I would MUCH RATHER be too thin to wear them and to fat to wear them.

Umm also I can fit into jeans from my sophomore year of college. Like 2002 American Eagle jeans. I have to say I’m comfortably now in size 14 jeans/pants. I can’t believe 12 is next. I swear I was a size 12 for like 2 weeks in college and that was the thinnest I ever was as an adult.

As per usual I’m going to the consignment store to see if I’ll get any money for my fat vclothes. I know I have $25 waiting for me for clothes I put on consignment last month. Anything the store doesn’t want I’ll gladly put on the shedandshare site.

REST DAY

Today is my first official “rest” day in a week – I had a mini rest day earlier this week after my toes wanted to kill me at the gym. I need this gym/exercise free day especially after 6 miles yesterday followed by a yoga/pilates class. However I do have a work event this evening – so I really won’t be able to crash on the couch until much later. Then back to the grind this weekend. I got a 4 miler and a 10(!!!) miler scheduled and then a rest day on Monday.

I have the same amount of followers as my current weight and in a few shorts days my weight will FINALLY be less than my followers. I know a bunch of us get excited about the follower to weight ratio which is random, but exciting and I’m happy to be party of the club!

Hi would you like some icing with a side of cupcake? I have to say these cupcakes are my type of cupcake…I much prefer icing to cake. In fact I have specific memories of eating from tubs of icing while sitting behind a recliner with my sister hiding from my mom when I was little (commence fatness).

I did have HALF of a cupcake and I didn’t even eat the cake, just the icing. I don’t regret it and it will just make me push even harder at the gym today. My secretary brought them in as leftovers from her daughter’s birthday – how friggin cute is the box they came in?
