An awkward Valentine vlog for all of you. Enjoy!
Editors Note: I said “My girl, Mother Nature” despite it sounding like Grandmother Nature 😛

Look what just showed up at work – I guess W really appreciated my pink pancakes!
Happy Valentines Day everyone!
Love Feast.
Love will make you do some crazy things. Like buy pink chocolate chip pancakes and then wake up early to prepare said pancakes. Who am I?
This weekend I made W a valentines breakfast – but I’ll tell myself I just used it as an excuse to drink mimosas 😛
I’ve lived alone for so long and cooked for just me that it’s weird and cool to cook for someone else. I am slowly trying to incorporate healthier options in Wiley’s diet – like sugar free options and more veggies/fruits. He’s coming along!
Just got back from a 3mi run with the doggie. It was my first non-track outdoor run of 2011 and the weather was a perfect 50 degrees! It feels so good to be back outside and running.
I registered for my next race – a 5K on campus on February 26th!
I’m excited and anxious. I have a good bit of runs scheduled between now and then. I just hope I am happy with my time and effort come race day.
Thanks to my tax refund hitting this week I’m taking this afternoon off from work to get some stuff done and also pamper myself.
The non glamorous things:
However what is glorious:
Finally this evening W gets here to kick off Valentine’s weekend. This is my first time ever having a “real” Valentine and I have a lot planned. I can’t wait 😀
Oh how I missed the pains in my ass after a stellar spin class. I knew despite wearing my padded shorts yesteday that I was going to hurt. However it’s a good hurt and I’ll gladly remember all the hard work I put into class yesterday while I waddle around today, it will also remind me to keep my eating on point. That pain isn’t going to be for nothing!
Damn I got my SWEAT on at the gym and I feel invigorated.
Spin class and 3 miles on the treadmill including 1 mile at 6.8 mph.
To awkwardly quote Barney on HIMYM “Daddy’s Home.”
I haven’t fully hit the ground running, but I’m taking steps. I’m happy to see a loss and hope to see 170s verrrry soon.
I’m excited about a soup and salad lunch at home. It’s a favorite combo of mine. I wish there were more places here that I could go for soup and salad for a reasonable price.
When I lived in North Texas there was a place called SalaDeli which was awesome and in the Dallas area I’d go to Souper Salad.
Not that eating your body weight in soup and salad is good for you, but I’m SUCH a sucker for an unlimited salad bar.
