29

29 is apparently not too old to end the night making out in a bar.

Also 29 is not too old for a 23-year-old, who knows how old you are, to want to make out with you in said bar.

I’m weirdly proud of all of this!

My alma mater Quinnipiac University is playing in the NCAA Division I Hockey National Championship tomorrow night!!!!

Last night was the Frozen Four Semi-Finals. As the new DC Alumni Chapter President I put together a watch party with my friend Andy. We had nearly 40 alums and their friends come out. Looking forward to tomorrow.

SO PROUD! #BeatYale

Body RAGE

I HATE NUMBERS

I hate the scale. I hate measurements.

I’ve been on Paleo and been pretty strict about it for the past MONTH, however my body refuses to lose weight or inches.

I’m so mad, so mad. I want these 10 extra pounds I’ve been carrying the last couple of months GONE and ideally an additional 15 pounds past that.

I keep fighting the urge to say FUCK IT, WHY BOTHER. I’m trying to stay strong, but my resolve is really getting tested.

Popped my cherry…blossom 10 miler!

I felt pretty good and finished in 1:49:29. Feeling confident about my half marathon in 20 days.

Fun observation: some people are so light and graceful when they run, meanwhile I feel like I look like I struggled in waist deep mud! Haha either way we’re all kicking ass.

District Cobb at Sweet Green – kale, romaine, avocado, grape tomatoes, raw corn, roasted chicken, egg, bacon with a fat free agave Dijon vinaigrette.

And got the District Cobb of the dumb girl in front of me for free because she didn’t specify that she wanted a different dressing.

Kale FTW

Pre-race Paleo ideas?

Tumblr I need your help. I’m running the Cherry blossom 10miler in DC tomorrow and I have no idea what to eat for breakfast that is paleo. I always used to eat steel cut oats with peanut butter before races, but since I’ve cut out oats I’m scared to eat them tomorrow, plus I’d prefer to stay paleo. I’ve been eating eggs for breakfast, but the thought of eating eggs before a race makes me queasy.

Help!

Countdown

My 30th birthday is in exactly 4 months.

I want to really buckle down and see how hard I can push myself to lose at least 15 pounds by then. No excuses, play like a champion!

Also now that I’m credit card debt free, I’m eager to see what kind of progress I can make building my savings and paying down my college and car loans.

I’m planning on starting a new decade on the best foot possible!
