Best hour
Booked an hour long should and foot massage at “Happy Head” which is a few block from hotel. It was magical and a great reward after a long travel day on Friday and my 10 mile run yesterday. Not to mention today is 1 month until the NYC half! Treat yoself!
Racking up steps!
I’m really enjoying being a tourist without a car. Lots of walking (and running) leads to amazing Fitbit stats!
Pro tip: beer is fantastic for muscle recovery. It’s especially medicinal when consumed outside while looking at water!

San Diego Miles
Headed out on my 10 mile run. My out and back run will actually be the last leg of the Ragnar SoCal course (which isn’t happening in 2014, but it will).
The park right outside my hotel is where the finish line will be. So I’m going to start at the finish run 5.1 to where the last exchange point will be and the run back to the finish line!
I do have my Ragnar shirt with me, but I’m wearing as little as possible clothing wise and sunscreen up THANKS to this 70+ degree weather!
*the route the hotel card I got yesterday suggested is most of the last legs route for those of you who want a visual!
