Back on the horse
Got my 6 miles in this morning. My confidence was a touch shaky my first mile, but then I got in the zone and it was smooth sailing. 30/71
I’ve fallen and I can’t get up
I tripped and fell on my easy 3 miler today.
A route I’ve taken countless times. My toe caught the lip of the uneven sidewalk and I flew. I landed so hard that my shoulder still hit and scraped the ground despite having my hands out.
I really saw my face hitting the concrete, thank God it didn’t, but it shook me the fuck up. A runner approached and asked me if I was okay/offered to help me up, but I needed a minute to sit. I haven’t tripped while running in a long time and it was fucking scary. Especially when you are 10 weeks out from an international marathon.
My 3 miles turned into 2, but I’ll be out there for my 6 tomorrow.
Monday was my two year Fitbit anniversary, took this screen shot. Almost 7 million total step. I racked up 3.4 million both last year and this year. That’s about 1750 miles a year!
Delaware – CHECK
Wrapping up a fantastic girls weekend in Dewey Beach Delaware. I was determined to run while I was here and I did this morning. 5 lovely miles from Dewey to Rehoboth. My ambitious goal was for 7, hoping for 3 and was pleased with 5. I’ve never run in Delaware, so I was excited to cross it off my 50 states of running list!
AM mileage. My place to across the Wilson Bridge and back in perfect weather 26/71 #DublinMarathon
3.21 miles to celebrate 32 and 1 day!

T got me a CamelBak hydration (3L bladder) backpack for my birthday!
I have been gun shy to buy one myself despite wanting one (and using his twice) because they are expensive. Now with my CamelBak I have no choice, but to buy myself the hiking boots I’ve been coveting as a birthday gift to myself.
Note: My favorite part was the card! He is an all-star card picker, the perfect balance of funny and sweet.
3.1 to close out being 31
Woke up early for my miles. Brought more water, but it still wasn’t enough. I’m over this dehydration and fatigue. Slow 2nd half of my run.
