you dont need any prep, you can go at your own pace in the class. just wear normal gym clothes, maybe longer shorts so your inner thighs dont chafe. Def tell the instructor its your first time, they will show you proper biking form. goodluck!

I want to do a spin class too! Wear as little as you can since it’ll be hot (shorts and tanktop or shirt) , stretch before and after, tell the instructer, and sit in the front (so you can follow the instructer better). That’s what I plan on doing!

Go at your own pace. If you can’t do it, just spin. Bring a water bottle & towel. Padded shorts would help. If you’re super intimitated sit in the back
Thanks ladies. I actually watched part of spin class from the hall today, I was going to talk to the instructor after class, but I missed her leave. I
am going
to go next Monday (perhaps this Wednesday – but that may be my rest day this week and also maybe drag my new grad assistant that joined my gym)
