It doesn’t matter what your athletic abilities are or if you are just looking to stay active because you are sure to find an event that will make you break a sweat.

Battle of the Potomac

Set-Up Events presents the Battle of Potomac Sprint Triathlon held entirely within the National Harbor Property this event features a 750 meter swim, 9.6 mile (2 loop) bike and a 5K out and back run that finishes in front of The Awakening.

Ragnar Relay
October 4-5, 2013
PICTURE THIS: You and 11 pals running relay style through 200 miles of stunning scenery in Potomac River Valley. Starting near the town of Cumberland, Maryland, your team will head east through the thick forests of the Appalachian Mountains. Around nightfall you’ll run through the quiet streets of many charming historic Civil War-Era towns, ultimately passing within the shadows of the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. The race (and your stamina) will wrap up on the shores of the Potomac River at the National Harbor in Washington DC. This is a running event you don’t want to miss. Mark your calendars and get ready to have some fun. This isn’t your average 10K or half marathon, this is Ragnar!

American Diabetes Association 5K Walk

National Capital Area Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place at National Harbor, bringing together about 2,000+ individuals, companies, organizations and families to raise money for a cure and to have a great time! The day will kick off with a HealthFest, music, performances, and inspiring stories of those who live with diabetes every day. Then, after an invigorating warm-up, participants will take a 3.1 mile trail along the National Harbor waterfront with families, friends, and company teams.

HER Foundation 5K

Hyperemesis Gravaderum (HG) is a debilitating and potentially life-threatening pregnancy disease marked by rapid weight loss, malnutrition and dehydration due to unrelenting nausea and/or vomiting with potential adverse consequences for the newborns(s).
