Sedated Freddie !

After a number of health episodes in 2017, Freddie was finally diagnosed with Cushings Disease in January 2018. Cushings effects his adrenal and pituitary glands, and also causes skin and coat issues which was the final clue to help identify it.

Fred has responded well to medication, but he needs ultrasounds and bloodwork every 6 months to monitor his health.

Freddie doesn’t like to be still or pinned down so he need to be sedated for the ultrasounds and the poor guy is always in a daze for the next few hours.

Initial reports for the ultrasound are positive, no major changes since his last one which is good news. Hoping to hear from the vet tomorrow to confirm that with the bloodwork and continue with our current course of treatment.

Halloween 2018 makeup reveal is TONIGHT!!!
.

Here’s a look back at some previous years!
.

Fun fact: I love over the top makeup!
Most people don’t know this about me because I wear almost no makeup on a regular basis. That’s because if I can’t wear giant fake eyelashes daily than why even bother!

.
Honestly doing my Halloween makeup is one of my favorite forms of creativity each year. I’m glad to have tapped into my creativity more through some other channels these past few months, but Halloween make-up is always a favorite.

.
Tonight I’m revealing my 2018 makeup. Like most years I get inspired almost a full year ahead of time so I’ve been waiting to put my look to the test. Only once back have I done a test run of my makeup and that was back in 2010. I like the excitement of having it all come together for the big night!
