Icy Monday

Well my plan to see my therapist and go to body pump after work were foiled due to icy conditions. Work closed at 2pm due to weather. Seems whoever was open closed earlier because the commute was busy home. 

I did have a quick indoor lunch walk with a friend, but I also came home a did a 35 min youtube yoga workout and climbed up and down the stairs of the house for 15 minutes ta-boot. 

Next I’m attempting @amanda-healthyhappywhole‘s Greek Lemon Chicken Soup!

I got an air fryer for Christmas and we’re obsessed already. T has made AMAZING french fries. We’ve also made bacon and brussel sprouts so far. We’re excited to continue to play with it.

Kicking things off with a reset! Also with being off this week I’m trying to maximize getting to the gym. I just need life to stop with the curveballs so I can stay in track. If only it was that was possible!

I may have setbacks, but I’m proud that no matter how many times I fall on the journey I’ve always picked myself back up!

Monday Womp

We spent the weekend visiting T’s friends in Pittsburgh which meant Primanti Bros sandwiches, pierogis, booze, and brunch. It definitely could have been worse, but it also could have been better.  

Fortunately, we did a TON of walking on Saturday which helped, but I haven’t been to the gym since Wednesday. Gotta stay on top of things this week. 

As of today, I’m wearing my new Fit Bit Charge 2 – it told me my cardio fitness is “Average-Good” (34-38) so clearly, I want to be firmly in “Good” and tracking toward “Very Good.”
