FBF: Destination Races
Here’s a little FlashBack Friday to all my destination races over my running career thus far.
I’m very excited to add an international race to my repertoire. Destination races are a great excuse to travel, so many of my “milestone” runs have been destination races. It adds an extra level of excitement and I always take my training more seriously as opposed to the races in my own backyard. Plus with destination races in cool cities it’s easier to get friends to join as runners or cheerleaders!

Doc Follow Up
T needs a follow up Doctor’s appointment. Blood work showed high levels of AST and ALT (usually associated with the liver).
Color me stressed. His follow up is on Monday. His appt is about the time I should be done with the Marathon so hopefully we can “Tango” (wifi video chat) after.
I’ve spent too much time on WebMD and the like since he texted me this morning. No clue what it can be, he hasn’t been much of a drinker since his military days, so…
Regardless of what it is I’m glad he’s getting medical attention and hopefully we can treat whatever the problem is.
