Got a post work run at work well before sunset (yay daylight savings)
Wow 5 years ago! I remember this vividly, I was 2 months into training for my first 5K ever and decided to push myself on the treadmill. I just felt a flood of emotions remembering how proud I was and how impossible it once seemed!
SUN-day
T and I enjoyed all the daylight savings sunshine today. We went to Gravelly Point Park to watch the planes at Reagan take off and land. We then spontaneously walked the Mount Vernon to one of the DC bridges and went to the Jefferson Memorial before walking back. I CANNOT wait for more outdoor fun!

half marathon ready by 4/26?
I just plotted out a 5x a week training schedule I did years ago when I only did an 8 week half training. It’s ambitious and this weather isn’t helping. I was on the fence about RNR Nashville with friends who are also turning it into a birthday week, but some things have changed so I could be available to go, I just don’t know if I can be ready. hmph
New running shoes were waiting for me when I got home!
Finally got to break in the new Garmin I got for Christmas!

Ragnar Florida Keys is currently going on! This is a bucket list race. The course is a 200mi relay from Miami to Key West. It sold out in under 24 hour, despite my captain’s best attempt to get us in. Maybe next year!
