NSV

Finally went to get my size 8 engagement ring sized down. We’re sizing it down to a 6.5!!!

The 8 was always a touch big. I had gotten sized (a year before we actually got engaged) when I was ~205 lbs. The jeweler recommended a size 7 ¾, but I was worried about it being to tight so I casually informed my then boyfriend that if he were to ever want to buy me a ring I was a size 8.

6.5 that number feels so dainty! Nothing about me is dainty. I’m 5’9.5” and wear size 10 shoes. I’ll likely not get smaller than a size 8 bottom, so a 6.5 ring size is something to celebrate!

I decided to #bebrave and wear my new white pants. I know buying them was a great first step, but knowing me I would WAIT for the RIGHT time to wear them. There is no right time, #carpediem!
Since today is my #weightwatchers at work meeting I thought I’d be a good #nsv to share with the group!

Bought these workout capris at the bookstore of my undergrad on clearance a long while back while there for a reunion, 2014 maybe? They were a ladies large and I thought I could fit them given I was Triathlon training at the time. Alas I forgot college gear “ladies” generally fit 18 year old bodies. They were embarrassing tight and went to the back of the drawer. At some point I pulled them out to try on and I could barely pull them up. Womp, back to the back of the drawer.

After an out of town weekend and T away for work this week we’re behind in laundry (T does most of the household laundry ?). I searched my workout bottom drawer and had a sea of full length pants or shorts. Then I spotted these lone capris and decided to give them a try. Success! Wore them on a walk and to Body Pump class!

Talk about a NSV!
