Yesterday I got my first Le Tote box.

The only stinker was the dark blue top, a little too tight. I liked the striped shirt tucked in as styled in the pic better (I never tuck in shirts). I like the pants, but as much as I’ve always gravitated to loose, I really want to challenge myself to try more slim/skinny pants. The dress is cute, but a touch short #longlegproblems!

I plan to wear the three pieces that fit at least once before returning the box for another and try and pick some more fitted pants.

Le Tote

Since I’m swimming in most of my clothes and I’m 0.5 away from a new “decade” on the scale, I treated myself to try a Le Tote box – it’s a subscription clothing rental company (and you can purchase the items to keep). I want to see this new body I have, but I’m not ready to commit to buying too many new items yet.

If you are interested I have a promo code for a FREE tote for you (and I get $25 in credit when you finish your first month):

THIS IS NOT AN AD, it’s just me sharing – I get my first box this weekend and will let folks know what I think.

I had to wear khaki pants for a work event today. Khakis are something I’ve ALWAYS felt self conscious about wearing. Like no thanks I don’t want to wear flesh colored pants that emphasize my butt, thighs, and hips.

I currently only have one pair – that I’ve worn once maybe, but I pulled them out to wear today – without trying them on. This morning I thought “OMG I haven’t worn these in forever what if they don’t fit or are too tight” (tight khaki pants make me feel THE MOST uncomfortable). Thankfully not only did they fit, but they were a bit baggy.

Not feeling self conscious today was a major NSV for me!

Early Jeans

So the dog was up early all week, which led to me waking up on my own at 5am today – of course the dog slept in. I figure I’ll go in the office an hour early today in hopes of leaving an hour early to make the 5:30 body pump class by my house. Buuuuut before doing that I did something I thought about doing over the weekend.

Re-trying on all my jeans.

OMG jeans I haven’t worn in yeeeeears fit. Even jeans I bought moons ago as “goal” jeans are not a far off reality.

My ooooooold size 14 Gap jeans fit and my newer size 12 Gap jeans (#vanitysizing). I have a few other 12s in the closet that are within reach and a pair of 10s that I may actually get to wear one day!

I’m in size 12 Ann Taylor Loft trouser jeans today!! Talk about a NSV!!
