I balanced out my Fuller House marathoning on Saturday with 12 glorious miles yesterday. Great weekend all around!

Snow Daze
Yesterday was a surprise snow day (we were supposed to be open President’s day). It derailed my Monday Yoga/Body Pump/CX routine, but I got creative and I did my Body Pump DVD and Hard Core Abs DVD along with all that fat burning from digging my car out of the snow.
Yesterday’s snow day also derailed my plan to work from home today (since I didn’t have the project/materials I planned on working on with me). So I was going to come in and go to the Barre-Pilates Fusion class I tried at work last week, but we got delayed until 10am then again until 11:30am – so no class for me. Doing some stairs and using my standing desk this afternoon.
Looking forward to warmer temps for an 8 miler and 10 miler later this week.
Your replies are on the way, Tumblr
Just wanted to let you know that we’re putting the finishing touches on replies, and making sure they play nicely with everything else on this platform.
“Why did they go away? Why, staff, whyyyy?” Fair question. We had a gaggle of overlapping message-like systems—namely, asks, fan mail, reblogging with commentary, question posts (rare!), and, yes, replies. When we finally introduced actual instant messaging a couple months ago, we had a lot of untangling to do.
In order to make all these systems work together, we had to do some back-end retooling, which meant taking down replies for a bit. For longer than we expected. Sorry about that.
And we get it—replies fill a very particular need (and you were very clear about expressing that need). They’re a kind of super like. A way to fully express your feelings about a thing without expecting anything in response. A gift.
When they come back, they’ll be even better. People will be able to reply to your posts multiple times, and you’ll even be able to reply to your own posts. Simple changes, yes, but ones that open up lots of possibilities.
Best of all, we’ve laid the down the engineering and design groundwork for even more substantial improvements down the road. Replies will be able to develop side-by-side with messaging.
More to come, soon enough. We know you all miss replies. We hope you enjoy their imminent return.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Praise big baby Jesus!
Reblog this if you’re a FITBLR with PERSONAL POSTS.
Need to follow less smoothies and nikes and more people on their journeys.
I know @staff has damaged our community by taking away replies, but I miss any interaction with you all. I feel like lots of people have been quiet both in posting and communicating/responding/liking. To keep to the Titanic theme, I will quote Rose: “Come back, come back….” ::looks for whistle::
My earring board is finally done!
I bought the framed board in October (thanks Marshalls) and planned to do black or silver push pins, but the push pins weren’t holding all the earring right. So I went on a search for hooked push pins and found two different types. I ordered both and decided that these Crazy Tackz were the best bet. I ordered a bunch and finally had time to get them all organized over Thanksgiving.
My precious system for YEARS were organizing my earring by type and color in ice cube trays in my top dresser drawer, but I ditched my dressers when I moved so I needed a new option.
I was inspired by a friend of mine who hung her necklaces on a button board that she glued buttons on the board’s border and glued buttons to the end of push pins.
Any wireless running headphone recommendations?

‘E:60’ – Catching Kayla – ESPN Video
One of my students just told me about Kayla Montgomery, it came up because my foot had fallen asleep at my desk and I was limping across the office. Kayla has MS and when she starts running she can’t feel her legs or feet which allows her to run super fast, but she can’t stop therefore she needs to collapse into her coach’s arms at the finish. There are a few videos, but this is from an ESPN special last year. It’s pretty extreme, but good for her running hard while she can!
Paid our respects and learned a lot at the Flight 93 Memorial. T and I have now been to all three 9/11 Memorials. #NY #USMC at Flight 93 Memorial Site – US National Park)
