My life is a full blown comedy of errors at this point, minus the comedy.
These past 2 months have arguably been the worst/hardest of my life. However by some miracle I mostly maintained my weight. These are my Weight Watcher weigh ins, despite not tracking these 2 months, I’ve been weighing in and staying for meetings as I can. Accountability. Naked on my home scale this morning I was 188.1.
I promise I will back here soon (spoiler alert) a counselor I just started seeing says I need to take time to do things for myself and to stop putting my wants and needs last. I want to be here with you, writing and reading in this community. I’ll fill you in on the past 2 months in the coming days and weeks I promise. I did however spend some time on some of your pages catching up and will continue to do so, so if you saw/see likes and comments on old post that’s why!

Apparently having 3rd sunburn (not really, but yikes – this pic is from Sunday) makes everyone in your Body Pump class talk to you (out of pity I’m sure)! Kids wear your sunscreen.
I participated in a Philly scavenger hunt over the weekend as part of a friends Bachelorette party. I haven’t been in a bunch of pictures since starting Weight Watchers in February and seeing even these weird photos (I’m always up for an opportunity to be a ham) made me appreciate my body.
My outside is beginning to match how good I’m feeling on the inside and I’m thrilled to recognize the “2012 me” that I worked hard to get to back then and then somehow let slip away.

Just booked a beach house for the week in the Outer Banks, Duck specifically. I’m super pumped and looking forward to that week in late July-early August which happens to also be when my birthday is!

I heard about this study on the radio this morning and considering it says my CURRENT age is the THE age, I can attest! My confidence in my SELF is at an all time high. My body confidence is increasing, but damn I love my 30s!
Eating healthy food has me feeling like…
New (Old) Routine
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it right? My old healthy eating routine worked, I just got bored of it after a while, but here I am.
Last night I made steel cut oats for the week and out them into their own containers. Bought plain greek yogurt and fresh fruit to top the oats. I LITERALLY ate this for breakfast every day for nearly 5 years and then stopped with the oats like 2 years ago.
The plan is to eat the oats/yogurt/fruit as a snack either mid morning or mid afternoon based on my lunch/workout plans.
I also am back on the Shakeology wagon. This will be my breakfast during my drive to work. Keep it simple. Unsweetened coconut/almond milk blend with ice and chia seeds or frozen raspberries with water. Or half water, half skim milk with PB2 and maybe half of a frozen banana.
I also have the Shakeology 3 day refresh which I am going to do this month. I need to buy the advised food and pick the best 3 day window for me to stick to it.
