NYCM

Hi Friends!

I’m back at work after a wonderous loooong weekend which I hope to write about soon. BUT I wanted to mention that on our drive back from CT to DC yesterday I took T into NYC for an impromptu super mini 4 hour NYC tour. My personal favorite part of the tour –

driving along the MARATHON ROUTE!

I was super excited to see the banners up as we drove through Harlem and to Central Park. We didn’t make it to the finish line/grandstand area, but still pretty awesome.

Fall Travels

In 2 weeks I’m headed up to Vermont with T for my friend Sarah’s wedding with a stop each way in Connecticut to visit my alma mater and see some other friends. (DRIVING)

Then 2 weeks after that I will be in Alabama to visit all my Auburn friends and go to the game again Texas A&M. (FLYING)

And then 2 weeks after that I will be in New York for Thanksgiving. (DRIVING)

I’m excited and exhausted just thinking about it.

Game Planning

10 days until race day

I leave for NYC tomorrow for a weekend o’ concerts (David Cook) and Broadway (If/Then and Hedwig), plus we plan on hitting up Oda House thanks to some yummy pics from veggielife and fromthebackofthepack.

The triathlon will be here before I know it – so here’s the plan:

  • Today: Yoga/Volleyball/20min run
  • Fri: NYC/Rest
  • Sat: NYC/Rest
  • Sun:  NYC/600m Swim
  • Mon: 30 min run
  • Tues: BRICK – 30min Bike/10min run/20min/walk (on race course)
  • Wed: 500m Swim/Kickball
  • Thurs: Yoga/Volleyball/Bike 20mi
  • Fri: 300m Swim/20min Run
  • Sat: Rest
  • Sun: Triathlon!

After a fantastic long weekend in North Carolina visiting 2 dear friends – one in Raleigh and one in Charlotte, I must admit I was eager to be home and see T. We both were traveling this weekend so we had some mega phone time while driving.

I got to see T last night and my goodness this man is sweeping me off my feet…
