It’s normal when spin class or trainer Dan render my legs jelly after a work out, but I’m always so proud when I’m able to work out hard enough on my own to make my legs feel like jelly after. Yesterday was one of those days! #plyotraining #6milewalk
Month: January 2013
I went on a really awesome first date last night which totally restored my faith in knowing I can have great chemistry with someone and it’s okay to not settle for anything less!
My roommates 18 pound cat came and sat on my lap while I was working from home – this is unprecedented!
Better than a Reblog
Part of tumblr culture is the reblog, I get it. However I think there should be a difference between reblogging to share with your followers or reblogging so you can keep record of it.
We all know the favorite/like system here doesn’t allow us to sort or use it to find things, HOWEVER for the past YEAR if there is a post that I want to archive for my own personal use I simply click to the reblog button, but then SAVE IT AS A DRAFT.
So my draft folder is where I keep all the things I want for future reference instead of clogging people’s dashes. I do enjoy reposts from people whose intent it to share, but just using your tumblr as a bulletin board – no, save that for pinterest – which I refuse to join.
Food Bucket List
My coworkers and I just made a list of all the restaurants we want to eat at this year – most of which are ethnic deliciousness:
- Vietnamese
- Ethiopian
- Korean BBQ
- Japanese
- Italian
- Spanish Tapas
- Cheese (Melting Pot)
- Vegetarian
Nutrition Class
So last week I learned about a website called Coursera which compiles free on-line classes from universities. These courses are open-share which means you do not need to have ANY affiliation with the school and are meant to be enrichment or supplemental classes
I just signed up for Nutrition, Health, and Lifestyle: Issues and Insights. Join me at https://www.coursera.org/course/lifenutr
WIW
Last week: 189.0
This week: 188.4
Change: -0.6
It may only be a small loss, but let me tell you I have been feeling phenomenal. I feel strong.
Eat all the meat and protein
I can barely keep my eyes open
Work hard at the gym = sleep like a champ
