Gobble Gobble

Since T and I spent Thanksgiving apart this year to be with own families he decided he wanted us to do a Thanksgiving together when I got back in town last weekend.

In his excitement T went to go to the grocery store to get said turkey on Black Friday and there was only one turkey, so he bought it. That turkey was nearly 24 pounds. T did made a lovely turkey (his first time), but needless to say we have A LOT of leftovers.

We’ve been eating quite well, we’ve made:

  • Turkey and Rice Soup
  • Turkey-Bacon-Avocado grilled cheeses (with cranberry yummmm)
  • Turkey Tetrazzini
  • Mason jar salads with Turkey
  • and obvious turkey leftover sandwiches with fixin’s

I got most of the recipes from Delish. Here is the soup which has been our favorite!
