March was mostly maintenance.

I didn’t have as many blue date days as I hoped due to travel and social opportunities, but I’ve tracked every single day since Jan 1. This month I also worked out 5x a week and have been challenging myself with weights. I think my measurements reflect that well.

Lent Goal ACHIEVED

This year for Lent I decided to journal every night, a habit I had for like 15 years but fell out of routine with the last few years. I’m pleased that I’ve written every night since Ash Wednesday (Feb 14). 

I told myself I “only” need to write a page and it doesn’t even need to be a full page. On a few occasions, I wrote more than a page, but I’d found a page to be a good amount overall. I also start a new page each day regardless of where I finished on the last page, which is a practice I haven’t done in a REALLY long while and I like it. 

The plan going forward is to write each night still. However now I can opt out of writing if I’m too tired or have nothing to say, but I think switching writing from opt in to opt out will be good for me and my habits.
