Timehop reminded me that I put my race bibs up in my old temporary office 2 years ago today. It was a great conversation starter and it filled that giant board.

Here are two other places I’ve previously housed my bibs over the years. Currently they are in a stack in my office, I need to figure out what to do with them – either hang around the top of my office like in the 2nd pic or maybe finally retire them to an album. I have written the date and my time on the back of each bib.

My new kicks FINALLY arrived. Who knew it would take an act of Congress for my running store @runpacers to track down a pair of @hokaoneone Arahi 2 in women’s 11. I literally told the store send me any color I don’t care – which is the usual case especially when stores only generally have 1 pair of women’s 11s. This color combo isn’t bad although I’m not really a purple person.

I already feel better and more in control this week now that I’m eating back on my @weightwatchers plan and tracking with a goal of 5 blue dot days a week. I have been very successful with these tools and I can’t let blips (AKA LIFE) throw me off course.
I’m happy that my latest summer plateau has at least kept me hovering in the high 170s, but I’m eager to see the low 170s like I did briefly in July.

Meal prep and getting back fully on the @weightwatchers wagon was the last step in getting myself fully back to my pre-summer routine (which is new and improved in its own regard).

From fitness, to writing, to budgeting, and beyond food is a big piece of the puzzle for me and I’m glad to have it falling back into place!

This week I’ve made it a point to leave my phone in the guest room when I go to bed since I’m trying to break my phone addiction. The first night I was restless and was tapping through my Fitbit stats when I “noticed” the relax function. I’d seen it before, but never used it. It’s takes you through 2 min or 5 min of breathing deep inhales or exhales. I’ve used this to wind down before drifting off to sleep this week.
I’ve also used the excuse I need my phone next to the bed since I use my phone as my alarm clock, but guess what, I dug out my relic of an alarm clock to wake up, AND per this mornings test run I can also hear my phone alarm going off in the other room.
