Note about weight watchers points – with the new freestyle model it’s only 2-4 smart points based off what kind of cream cheese I use. I like to serve it over cauliflower rice!







The notion “abs are made in the kitchen and not the gym” is scientific truth. You cannot out run junkfood it’s not possible.
Food is fuel and I have learned a lot about nutrition over the years especially in the last 12 months on the new freestyle program by weight watchers. I’m not here to sell anybody on weight watchers and most of the stuff that has helped me successfully lose weight was food I was eating anyway when I was eating healthy.
Here are a few collages of 75% of my diet broken down into categories.
In the coming days I’ll share a log of what I eat in a day, as well as some of my favorite recipes and Instagram accounts related to cooking.



Excited to give the new @blueapron and @ww partnership boxes a try! I did Blue Apron most of 2016 and loved it, my fiancé really got into cooking as a result. Excited to give this a whirl and see if we can build it into our meal planning. I’m thinking after the first month doing it every other week and recycling past recipes. @ww friendly planning is a big part of my 2019 goals!

Bought this on a whim a few weeks ago at @traderjoes and forgot about it until tonight. I decided to pair it with ground turkey, black beans, rotel and chili season for a “Taco-Mac.” Damn it was delicious. Split the mac with my fiancé so half the box was 7sp and the chili was 0sp.


Body Pump initial instructor training is today!! I feel good, but also nervous and excited. Today and tomorrow are both 8a-6p days so I was given extensive packing lists. Here’s most of what I packed. Not pictures: extra socks, sweatbands, turkey sandwiches!



Meal prep and getting back fully on the @weightwatchers wagon was the last step in getting myself fully back to my pre-summer routine (which is new and improved in its own regard).
From fitness, to writing, to budgeting, and beyond food is a big piece of the puzzle for me and I’m glad to have it falling back into place!
Okay it finally feels appropriate to eat all the pumpkin! Starting with pumpkin purée and pumpkin spice in my Greek yogurt!
Kicking off my ?BIRTHDAY? with a Birthday Cake Quest Bar ? and Body Combat before a bunch of cleaning and prep for birthday bbq at our house!
