Last year I fell off the @ww wagon after 6ish months, but had been maintaining until November came around. It started with a Fall party we threw and I let eating and drinking get the best of me through the end of the year.

Right after Christmas – even before January 1 – I recommitted to the new #wwfreestyle program and to working out. There is so much more than 20 pounds between these two pictures.

Taught a FULL #BodyPump class today! Filmed it so I can make adjustments before my official filming for my certification on Sunday!

I was definitely nervous the first 2 tracks and the eased into it! Here are some screen grabs!

A closer look at some stats from yesterday’s 5K. I have t pushed peak heart rate like that in ages!

Despite being bundled up I liked how angular my face looked in the group picture.

Sort of impromptu 5K this morning with friends in Baltimore. I’ve barely run in 2 years, but I was pleased with how today went despite ZERO training. All my other fitness and hiking must have been transferable!

This trip wasn’t all about food, I also made time for fitness.

I worked out Tuesday evening before our middle of the night drive. Then got in a solid 2.5 hours on Wednesday morning between Body Combat class with my sister and Body Pump practicing. There was a ton of walking around NYC Wednesday (24,500 steps) and then shadow taught Body Pump with my sister on Friday.

We’re on the road back home now and I have plans to practice Body Pump and take Fred out for a nice long walk after being cooped up in cars and apartments on this trip!

First time doing Body Pump with Smart Bars! I have the opportunity to take some classes at the family of franchise gyms I auditioned for last week to observe their top instructors.
It was a good class, the room was paaaacked, and I needed to get accustomed to the weight options for these bars they have 2.2, 5.5, and 11.
