October Measurements
Pretty cool to compare where I am now opposed to where I was in February when I restarted things after a sizeable gain following the holidays (which I hoping planning to avoid this year) or even to look back at January 2017 (in red) which is when I started Weight Watchers.

Came across that picture on the left in my Timehop today. I remember how big I felt that day melting in the Alabama heat and how I squeezed my arm to my side to cover my love handles and hips. Now I much prefer the skinny arm pose!

I was going to do a face to face Friday, but I couldn’t resist a whole side shot once I put these two next to one another.
I’ll take age 35 over age 23 any day! I was so clueless when it came to nutrition, health, exercise, etc. I’ve made it a point to learn about these areas and also share what I’ve learned with others!

First collage is 2010-2017 and the other two are from 2006; 2008-2010.
I interned at AU in summer 2006 and then worked there full time from 2008-2012. It’s the place where I started my fitness journey and will always be special to me.
Plus my favorite color is orange so any excuse to wear it and be surrounded by orange was always a thrill!

I’m doing monthly measurements a few days early since we leave for vacation tomorrow coupled with the fact I missed my July 1 measurements due to work madness. Really pleased with my progress!

10 years between these pics. I’m feeling way more comfortable in my skin at 34 than I ever did at 24. I’ve also learned not to hide from the color white!

I remember feeling really squeezed in then back in 2014 which is probably why I have my hands in my pockets (which I rarely do) to distract from how tight they were.
I was getting dressed this morning and was pleased with what I saw in the mirror while in my skivvies!
My #weightlossjourney unsurprisingly has been a series of ups and downs. These aren’t from my highest, but rather a few months into other “restart” efforts (probably when I was feeling more confident to take pictures like this to begin with).
The pics on the top left are from early May 2013, top right from late April 2017 and the bottom pictures from this morning.
My belly will always be a problem area, but I’m getting there. The real progress is what I see in my arms and legs!
