I’m down almost 4% body fat in almost 3 months and it feels damn good. 

Seriously if I knew I would have been this successful with Weight Watchers I would have joined ages ago. However I also believe it’s the right mindset and right program at the right time!

WHEEEEW, my period/flights/conference travel weight gain was only a temporary blip.

I of course KNEW that was the case, but starting off 2017 strong with working out hard and Weight Watchers I was upset to see such a gain. Glad to be back to where I was and even down .1 from my weight 2 weeks ago. 

Onward and upward in the case of my weight, downward!

So between airport and travel eats, retaining water from flying and my period I clocked in at:

  • 197.4 on my home scale
  • 199.4 at weight watchers

It’s about a 4lb change from last week. I know some of this is from travel and period bloat. I feel way puffier/fluffier today than I did even yesterday morning. 

I ran 2x while away and did over 9 miles two of the days between even just conference walking. I’m headed to body pump and body combat express (30 min) tonight then off to Philly for work again for the weekend. I’m teleworking on Monday with plans to food prep and reset.

Wooohoo!! I’m finding that right mix of good eats/alcohol/working out. 

However on Sunday I leave for about a week of work travel. Sun-Wed in San Antonio and then Fri-Sun in Philly. I’ll packing my running shoes, but will be doing almost zero cooking and meal prep so i’m hoping I don’t gain. 

What’s your best advice for eating out/work travel dining?

WIW and monthly measurements

I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, but I weighed in and took measurements.

Losing inches left and right! I see the difference and I feel the difference.

In terms of weighing in at home:

Change: 0

Between engagement celebrations and a busy work week that impacted my ability to work out I’m totally fine with no change. My next 2.5 weeks are a bit nutty so I’m hoping to not gain any weight, but I’ll be able to buckle down and focus starting March 20 – just in time for spring!

Basking in Engagement Glow

Thank you all for the tumblr love yesterday! 

It was weird trying to figure out who to inform when and how. Who got the Monday calls/facetimes, verses who to text on Tuesday and Wednesday. I had some work meetings on Wednesday and Thursday morning where I knew I wanted to tell people in person. Who I would be upset if they found out via social media and not from me.  So I posted to other social media yesterday afternoon and got a ton of lovely responses, but I’m glad I was thoughtful in who I told how/when. 

I even walked into my Weight Watchers meetings a declared I had a new “why” to add to my list and showed off my ring. Everyone was excited, so even though they are a new community it was really nice! I even got my 4th meeting key-chain yesterday and saw another 1.2 loss. BOOM! 

Oh and my sister is coming to DC this evening, this trip was planned over a month ago. I’m excited to celebrate with her this weekend and then one of my other besties and her husband are coming down for a preplanned trip the next weekend!!
