#transformationtuesday pink pants edition!
April 2014 > Feb 2018 > Jun 2018
I remember feeling really squeezed in then back in 2014 which is probably why I have my hands in my pockets (which I rarely do) to distract from how tight they were.

When your pants are baggy enough to become a cup holder!
I still can’t believe I’m becoming the kind of person who leaves a party at 10:30pm on Saturday night so I can go home and make sure I get 8+ hours of sleep and still wake up for my 9am Body Pump class. Curbing my sleeping until the afternoon tenancies has been a major shift in my life. I still love sleep, but I try to go to bed earlier to make sure I can go to the fitness classes I like.
Also can we talk about how I was feeling sexy AF in this sports bra/tank combo. My shoulders and back are quickly become new favorite body parts!
Spent the past 24 hours at a ropes course with my student staff. I remember in my heavier days being terrified of ropes courses because of the physical elements, especially “the wall.” However you need to put your trust in the team.
I always loved being a spotter, lifter, and especially a puller. Getting lifted/pulled less so, however over time my “challenge zone” in an activity like this has become a “comfort zone.” I love being able to push and support others as they face heir comfort zone. I also love being an example and also showing my team that I trust them to help me get over the wall.
In this case the challenge is a 13 foot flat surface, but we all have challenges that seem insurmountable in front of us. The important part of life is realizing that we are all in it together, there is strength in numbers.
I went to a #weightwatchers store meeting today since I’m off and was going to miss my at work meeting. I’ve only been to one other store meeting back when I first started. It’s a nice change of pace, I appreciated learning stories from a new group of folks.
Oh and I’m down -1.2 lbs this week!!
I’m reminded that the more I take care of one or two aspects of my well-being the easier it is to take care of more. I’m stepping up my oral hygiene and skin care regimen with these purchases.
Have you noticed similar changes in your habits?
Here’s pictures of me fully dressed & feeling svelte in a new outfit of a small shirt and size 12 capris!
Shout out to Wolf Trap (the ONLY National Park for the performing arts venue that is amazing and only like 10 min from me) for featuring this in their newsletter.
I’ve always been okay with going to concerts or even more so live theatre alone. I rather go alone and fully focus on enjoying it as opposed to dragging someone and “worry” about if they are enjoying themselves. The best option however is having friends who like the same live music/theatre that you do, so you both get to fangirl out and enjoy it! Honestly, I’m ALWAYS down for a live show of any kind and happy to join anyone who really wants to catch a show, but isn’t quite up for going stag!
I was getting dressed this morning and was pleased with what I saw in the mirror while in my skivvies!
My #weightlossjourney unsurprisingly has been a series of ups and downs. These aren’t from my highest, but rather a few months into other “restart” efforts (probably when I was feeling more confident to take pictures like this to begin with).
The pics on the top left are from early May 2013, top right from late April 2017 and the bottom pictures from this morning.
My belly will always be a problem area, but I’m getting there. The real progress is what I see in my arms and legs!
*?? people I know IRL who I recently shared this with, let’s agree not talk about me posting pics in my underwear on the internet haha
Great pic the photog took of us at our friends C+J’s wedding last month!
