I’m psuedo mad at myself for eating after 9pm the past two days. I’ve been really good the past few months, but its been hard since I run an orientation program and a college and have 18 hour days, most of which end at 1am.

SING WITH ME: “I Would Walk 500 Miles…”

I was crunching some numbers from my past 4 weeks of ½ marathon training and I came to realize that I’m on pace to have run over 80 miles this month.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

Miles Ran
January: 34.2
February: 31.97
March: 36.8
April: 53.7
May: 60.3
June: TBD – Going to be OVER 80.

Starting in July I’ll be running over 20 miles a week. WOW. I remember back in January/February when the thought of 10 miles a week was DAUNTING.

It’s really exciting that I’m on track to run well over 500 miles in 2010.

No Bueno

Soooo I was doing great on calories today (all week actually) and I decided to get Chick-fil-a fries and chargrilled sandwich with just the bottom bun and no sauces HOWEVER I feel sick. I’ve seen people write they have felt sick eating fast food after not having it (its been at least 6 weeks). Now I have to do back to back presentations feeling sick.

Drinking black coffee because there are no non-coffeemate options and I was horrified by the sugar and calorie count in coffeemate. I’m generally an iced coffee with skim or a hot coffee with half and half kinda gal – no sweeteners.

WIW Victory

Last Week: 197.6

This Week: 195.4

2.2 POUNDS! Seriously this is the biggest 1 week loss I’ve had in 2 months.

I’ve lost 27.2 pounds and have 27.4 to go until my GW. It’s going to be so exciting to see the pounds lost be MORE than the pounds to go until GW. That all makes my UGW (40.4 pounds from this weight) seem more possible.

Ear Bud Recs?

I have been a sweating fool lately to the point where my RIGHT ear (only my right…weird) gets so sweaty that my ear bud falls out and the volume sounds off due to sweatyness.

Can anyone recommend some ear buds (not ones that hook around your ear – my industrial piercing is not a fan of that) that are under like $30.

Learning Curve

I was going to go to the gym today despite it being a rest day, but as it got closer to the end of the work day which started at 7:15am, I realized I am far too tired and my legs could really use a break, so no gym today. I’m going to try and keep my rest days RESTFUL because I think it will pay off in the long run.

I also have been assessing my “myplate” and my calories are lower than they should be, but my protein in WAAAY high. So I need to find a balance of eating more calories, but with less protein. SUGGESTIONS?

Half Marathon Training Week 3 – OWNED

18 total miles this week

Today is a rest day to kick off week 4, but I’m still going to go to the gym to stretch and do some core work outs and maybe even the stairmaster. It’s so crazy how working out has become so engrained in my life these days.

This Saturday I’m doing 6 miles as part of my Half Marathon training and in preparation for my 10K which is now under 2 weeks away!!
