The World’s Fastest Beer Mile Was Recorded for Posterity
Remember this moment. Someday your kids will ask you where you were when you found out that some jackass had run a beer mile—like a regular mile, but with more beer—in under 5 minutes, setting a new world record.

last week’s wiw was toxic because I spent easter weekend at my moms eating my face off. This last week I tightened up, got all my workouts in, plus month 2 of insanity starts today, and tomorrow starts my month of no gluten. He’re hoping for some “big numbers” in May!
EVERYTIME I do my Insanity workout Freddie does his. I’ve been trying for days to capture him, but everytime I paused the DVD he stops, so today I didn’t pause it and caught him!
Welp today’s April 28th which means the Sprint Triathlon I plan to register for is officially under 3 months away (July 27).
I’m looking for 10-12 week training program – that ideally has 2 rest days, but I’m flexible.
Interwebs watcha got for me?

DC/NoVa Runners
Port City Brewery and Pacers are teaming up again this summer for the Lagers and Joggers.
Every Monday at 7pm starting May 5th Pacers will be leading 1, 3, or 5 mile runs that start and end at the brewery in Alexandria (aka like 1.5 miles from my house).
I went to a bunch last summer when they were only monthly and plan on getting out to as many of these as I can. Let me know if you ever want to join! (DC kids you can even metro to me and I give you a lift to the brewery)

DANCING PANDA!
This cracked me up the other night. Mostly because Jimmy kept cracking up. The only thing I love more than Jimmy Fallon is Jimmy Fallon cracking himself up.
I always forget how much I love pears. Eating a delicious one at the moment. My Dad was a big fan of pears too – one of the many many many things I got from him. xoxo
Today would have been my Dad’s 65th birthday had he not died following his gastric bypass surgery due to the hospital’s negligence almost 7 years ago.
I still have lots of anger, but mostly sadness, love, and a forever void.
