Last week: 183.6

This week: 183.2

Change: -0.4

I’ll take it despite seeing 182 briefly this week. I need to remind myself that I shouldn’t expect to see “big losses” every week and especially the week following a big loss.

I have my eye on the prize to try and be down ~5 pounds for the month of March.

Yesterday T and I drove out to Shenandoah to hike Old Rag. We’ve each hiked it a few times, but we hadn’t done it together before.

Old Rag is about 11 miles roundtrip and can be difficult at times, especially due to its various rock scrambles. However, the view is well worth it!

Thanks to T trying to keep me at  “Marine pace” we did the hike in just under 5 hours. We’re both sore today, but a good sore! I like pushing my body to do what it’s truly capable of!

When I upgraded to the Fitbit Charge 2 in September it also measured cardio fitness (related to heart rate).

At first I was in the 34-38 range and then a few months ago (likely soon after when I recommitted to weight watchers and working our regularly) I got up to the 35-39 range.

Well today I checked and saw I moved up to the 36-40 range! I’m so close to moving from average-good to good-very good!

A tale of two Freddies.

First pic is a preview from our Freddie photoshoot we did at home with a local photographer friend last weekend.

The second is today, Fred coming out of sedation after his follow up ultrasound to monitor his Cushings Disease.

I am just so proud of myself I can barely stand it! I’ve never seen such steady results before in my life!

In weight watchers yesterday we talked about how sharing our losses and success with the program can be difficult at times. Sometimes people are not supportive, or not as far along on their weight loss journey, or some people even want to sabotage you. Sabotage came up with some people at the meeting – since it’s a WW at work meeting a few women are in the same office and said their boss brings 2 boxes of fresh donuts EVERY Friday despite many people in the office are on WW or trying to lose/maintain on their own. One woman said she tried to talk to their boss about it, but she laughed it off and then later brags about how she never is tempted to eat the donuts she brings!)

Anywaaaaay. Weight loss sharing is hard because I’m proud, but I don’t want to brag either. Plus weight loss and maintenance is a life long journey and I have already had my ups and down enough to know not to get too proud or comfortable either.

I just need to reach the tipping point that I can no longer wear the clothes I’m beginning to swim in and then wear/buy clothes that fit better and therefore perhaps my weight loss will be more noticeable…

Today: 183.6

Last Week: 188.4

2 Weeks Ago: 184.6

Change: -4.8 pounds

Big drop since last week’s post friends/conference travel weigh in and thrilled to see I’m down 1 pound from 2 weeks ago.

The 170s are getting so close, I can hardly believe it – or remember when I was last there (summer 2012)!
