0 point delight

Now that 0% Greek yogurt is 0 points WW people have been using it for everything. I just tried it with sugar free vanilla pudding and it’s a no for me. MAAAAAYBE Cheesecake pudding would be better or Chocolate, but than vanilla coupled with the texture is a hard pass.

Icy Monday

Well my plan to see my therapist and go to body pump after work were foiled due to icy conditions. Work closed at 2pm due to weather. Seems whoever was open closed earlier because the commute was busy home. 

I did have a quick indoor lunch walk with a friend, but I also came home a did a 35 min youtube yoga workout and climbed up and down the stairs of the house for 15 minutes ta-boot.

WW Freestyle

I rolled over 4 points yesterday! It’s crazy how with all the 0 point food changes that I can practically go all day without dipping into my points. I’m always going to use Fat Free/Low Fat half and half in my coffee, but now my egg cup breakfast is 0, my greek yogurt and fruit snack is 0 and then lunch can be pretty low point too. In fact my chili I’ve had this week is 0 points. 

The way I see it the 4 points I rolled over are another beer I can drink this weekend! But honestly I like the idea of having a low point day and then have more flexibility to eat points at dinner as opposed to the opposite approach I used to take.

Snow Delay

Here in the DC Metro we had a winter storm advisory, but nothing near as crazy as places more coastal. However I do LOVE a snow day and we didn’t get ANY last year (well we got one, but I was traveling for work and missed out). But in addition to having some tasks I wanted to get done today at work I was really hoping for a delayed opening as opposed to a closure because I wanted to weigh in at my Weight Watchers at Work group! 

We ended up with a 2 hour delay. So I got to SLEEP IN, had an easy commute (since some places were closed or others had varying delays). Plus my WW group meets at noon, so with an 11am open we were good to go! 

Today was one woman in our group’s last meeting. In ~24 weeks she lost 35lbs – it was really inspiring to witness it and to hear her kind words to the group today.

I got an air fryer for Christmas and we’re obsessed already. T has made AMAZING french fries. We’ve also made bacon and brussel sprouts so far. We’re excited to continue to play with it.

Pre 3 Day Refresh: 196.5

Totally fine with this number. Post-cleanse also kicked me into some minor period spotting (TMI), my body is very sensitive to the change in diet sometimes causes spotting which in turn means carrying some water weight.  Plus my bowels are still catching up haha. 

Diet Bet weight goal is to lost ~7.8 lbs this month. I am confident! 

DietBet

I joined a DietBet. I still need to read all the rules and whatnot (4% of weight by Jan 31), but I saw @chiconthecheap post about it on another social platform and it was just the push I needed. To quote @94monkeys I have no shame in my “January Joiner” game! I started blogging in January 2010 and have recommitted to fitness and well-being every year since. 

Lunch Miles

Spent 40 minutes of my lunch break walking 2 miles on the treadmill at the gym at work. Today’s been SUPER quiet at work and I was getting restless. I’m so glad I went and got my blood pumping – even though I plan to go to Body Pump and walk some on the treadmill later. 

Weight loss and weight maintenance is a neverending journey and that’s okay. I just need to work on balance, that’s my goal for 2018. 

Strong Start

  • Began tracking on my WW app again – it works so well for me – I don’t know how I fall off track, but alas I’m back
  • I went to the gym yesterday for 2.5 treadmill miles
  • Did a HUGE grocery shop of ALL the healthy things
  • Prepped egg cups for the week
  • Got to the office early, but it’s basically a ghost town here.
  • Made my new 2018 circle calendar this time on 8.5 x14 paper
  • Rearranged my office
  • Oh and all this is while they have been testing fire alarms for now nearly 2 hours…
