I also got my highlights touched up this weekend.

I’m growing my hair super long for a wedding I’m in this June (in an effort to cover my boobs since my dress is not very flattering). We’ll see if I keep it long, who knows maybe if I have a wedding of my own in the foreseeable future I’ll keep the length (June will be 3 years w/ T so I’m just sayin…)

I need to take some time to straighten it, it’s been a while and I forgot how long was hair has gotten!

Dropping LBs

Made it to my 2nd official Weight Watchers at Work meeting. Clocked in at being down 1.2 lbs.

My WIW morning naked weigh in was only 2 lbs lighter than my midday dressed weigh in so it makes me feel like this is legit weight loss!

I am just super focused and motivated. I even went to an insane boot camp class tonight right after work – making health & fitness friends at work is really helping me find my community!

WIW – milestone edition

Last week: 197.8
Today: 195.4
Change: -2.4

Wow look at me go!

I’ve lost 10.5 lbs since 1/17 which is when I started my 3 day Beachbody refresh cleanse. Then I started weight watchers 2 weeks later. Weight watchers is making a big difference in the choices I am making related to food and overall being mindful. Example I had one Twix mini yesterday and I ate it slowly and really let myself enjoy and savor it.

Plus I’m working out 5-6 days a week from fitness class to running to yoga to even a 20-30min walk if that’s only option. I feel amazing and people are starting to notice it too – I got a few texts/comments after I posted the race picture with T on Sunday!

Ran my 2nd 5K of 2017 in my quest to run one 5K a month this year!

I started back to interval training a few weeks ago and clearly my work is paying off since I only walked (at a brisk pace with 2 friends) my January 5K in 51 minutes. This also was a  much bigger more organized race than January. It felt good to be back, I haven’t done a race since May.

I used my Running (For Weight Loss) app and tried my best to stick to their recommend walk/run/sprints. Sometimes I walked longer other times I ran longer. All and all I felt good and strong the whole time. I wore my running watch, but only to keep an eye on my pace – I didn’t want to push to hard (like I tend to do during races). I didn’t have a goal time, my training run was pre-schedule for 41 minutes and based on my previous runs on just under 3 miles – I knew I could do it under 40.

I’m going to just keep focusing on small gains each other, I want to get faster and stronger, but while also not aggravating my injury.
