Weigh in ThuRsday – all the colleges I’ve worked out recently use R for thursday when advertising class schedules. I never saw the R usage when I was in college or grad school, but it’s handy.

Anyway my weigh in

Today: 182.4 

Last week: 184.8

Change: -2.4

WINNING!

I saw it flash 181.X the first time I got on the scale, but then I peed and weirdly then weighed more. 

If I could see 170s, by the marathon in 10 DAYS I would be THRILLED!!

Don’t love it, but I’m battling back against vacation!

I won’t get to control much of my meals with my upcoming camping trip, but hopefully being active with hiking, kayaking and rockclimbing I can burn some calories.

Live from New York…

It’s my birthday week!

Yesterday after a 179.8 WIW and then CPR/AED certification I made the 5 hour voyage from DC to NY.

Today I had a 3 mile run and good god it’s gross here. The heat and humidity followed me. There were all these air quality warnings on the news today. My first 2 miles were decent, but the last mile was ugly. It’s been nearly an hour since I showered post run and I’m pretty sure I’m still sweating from my run!

I’m currently on the train to NYC for a fitblr dinner with 94monkeys, veggie life and fasterstronger!

*Turns out I didn’t set my new scale to female so my old percentages were wrong, which makes sense. 25.5 is much more realistic than 20 for me right now!

Happy to the scale moving in the right direction once again. I am always happy to see 170s, but I will CRY WITH JOY the day I see the 160s. I’ve been flirting with the 170s for TOO DAMN LONG.

WIW – Broken Record Edition

Today: 176.0

Don’t get me wrong the Jenn 2.5 years ago never thought she’d be woeful over maintaining a weigh in the mid 170s for months, but Jenn of TODAY is so eager to FINALLY hit the 50 pound loss mark. 172.2 YOU ARE SO CLOSE, YET SO FAR.

Over the past 1.5 years I’ve seen 175.X, but have yet to see 174.ANYTHING. Not only do I want to see 174, but I want to see 172 and then 171 – which will put me at the “normal” BMI range for my height. 

46 pounds down and in the end I’d like to see 20 more pounds go.
