So when I restarted this weight loss effort for the umpteenth time on 12/28/17 at 196.5 lbs I set a weight goal of 179. It seemed far away, but more realistic than my actual goal weight of ~168.

Well week by week, pound by pound, small change by small change I’m down the 17.5+ pounds I set out to achieve. Just look at the weight loss chart! With all goals, I will enjoy this achievement, but I have set a new goal of 165!

When I first started my weight loss efforts at 222.6 lbs in 2010 my goal weight was 168 and my ultimately goal weight was 155. I think 165 is a realistic and happy medium in terms of BMI, body fat percentage, maintenance, etc.

I’d love to hit the 160s by my 35th Birthday on August 4th!

Let’s do this!

So many measurements! Yesterday I did my end of month weigh in and measurements. Solid progress. Then jumped on the scale today for my WIW

Last week: 179.9 (I was holding steady there for a little while)

This week: 178.7

Change : -1.2

WIW

Last week: 180.5

This week: 179.9

Change: -0.6

170ssssss!! You have eluded me since 2012, it feels so good to be here!

When I restarted this effort after Christmas I set my fitbit goal weight to 179, thinking that my true goal weight of 168 was impossible. I’m ready and motivated to chase down the 160s!

WW Weigh In

I’m down 2 pounds this week!

I have been killing the Weigh Watchers game since New Years (down 16.2 since then and counting)  and I feel like my WW leader is apathetic. I hit my 10% loss threshold last week and did not even get a sticker (or a charm) WTF. I’m so close to 170s and she didn’t even mention it. I like her as a person, but I don’t think she’s the most enthusiastic WW leader – I’ve responded more positively to subs when they’ve covered.

March was mostly maintenance.

I didn’t have as many blue date days as I hoped due to travel and social opportunities, but I’ve tracked every single day since Jan 1. This month I also worked out 5x a week and have been challenging myself with weights. I think my measurements reflect that well.
