I started doing couch to 5k today. just want you to know because you are my inspiration!
Week 3 Day 1 of couch to 5K today…I’m making progress. Maybe one day I’ll be on the same level as you.

Yesterday was a once in a lifetime day, the day of days! I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I fought, and I finished. The emotion that was poured out by runners, volunteers, spectators and everyone involved was unreal. To see my home city come together for one day to prepare, run and party was one of the sickest things i’ve ever been apart of. The journey is where you find the truth, I won’t remember the 2011 Boston Marathon by the time I finished but rather by the time I had running.
I have noticed feeling slightly better upon mass water consumption.

DUH! Apparently my healthier choices talk struck a cord with him. I told him on beverage changes alone he’s prob drop some pounds. Plus I showed him the coke vs. water email.
It’s not so much the running that affects your health positively, but the lifestyle changes that often accompany the decision to run.
