Since I’m .8 pounds from having lost 25 pounds (CRAZY!) I booked my massage which was my 25 pound loss reward.

I LOOOOOVE massages and I have been a bit sore lately from my increased running regiment and being on my feet for work so much lately so I am pumped for this reward.

When I lived in Texas there was a massage school in town and massages were like $25 so I went pretty regularly. The spa at home that I LOVE is like $80 so I only do that once in a while. I had a gift certificate to a spa here for a massage and it wasn’t only meh. So I’m trying the massage therapists at the Medical Clinic at the college I work at. My appointment is Monday the 14th and I CANNOT wait!

I have had some serious will power the past 2 days. Usually it’s so hard for me to say NO to bad food when it’s free, but I’ve turned down a lot of stuff…I hope I can keep it up. The decreasing numbers on my scale are a hellava lot more enjoyable than junk food.

4th of July 10K – REGISTERED

In honor of National Running Day I signed up for the July 4th Music City 10K (I also ran 3 miles this morning to celebrate as well even though the humidity nearly killed me).

I am SO pumped.

So as you may remember last week was my first official WIW and I wrote:

I’m jumping on the Weigh in Wednesday bandwagon!

Alas I am holding steady at 200.6 AKA where I was A MONTH AGO. This month was a little crazy with a long weekend in Baltimore/DC/PA and a quick trip to Boston in addition to training my orientation leader staff for ten, 10+ hour days.

I know this month I hit around 205 at one point, so I’m glad I’m back down I’m just bitter. I WANT NOTHING MORE TO BE OUT OF THE GODDAMN 200s and I’ve had to look at a friggin 2 longer than I’ve wanted. Next Weigh in Wednesday IT’S FREAKIN ON…MARK MY WORDS THERE WILL BE A “1” IN FRONT OF MY WEIGHT.

Well guess what kids today I weighed 198.4!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit after a pretty kickass weekend of working out and eating well I couldn’t wait so I weighed myself yesterday and was at 199.0 I was THRILLED. So needless to say I am not only PUMPED, but really proud of myself for hitting 198.4. It feels great after a  major plateau in May that me and my body are battling through.

Happy WIW to all of you and don’t be down if you’re not thrilled with this week’s number because we have all been there and we are all in this together.

Workouts are like brushing my teeth; I don’t think about them, I just do them. The decision has already been made.

Honestly, in the beginning, I had to force myself on both accounts (I’m trying to brush 2x-3x a day), however now 5 months into my journey I can say I completely agree with this quote
