Today’s “Measuring Monday” free-write. A (long) short history of my life as a blogger.
I just realized I didn’t share here that I recently started dog sitting with @roverdotcom! I’ve had clients the past 2 weekends and I’ve loved it. It’s a pretty simple way to make money and multitask and HELLO I love dogs! I have some Rover discount codes or could share my page if your are in the Northern VA/DC area and want me to dog sit/walk!










I’ve earned 63 fit points thus far today from going to Body combat and Body pump this morning, walking the dogs that I’m sitting for, and 7.1 miles in my last urban hiking class.
Facilitating my recovery with water, Powerade zero and chocolate milk. Chocolate milk is a perfect recovery drink and beer is also good too, I shall also have pumpkin beer later!
I don’t think I’ve shared a pic of my @ensorings silicone ring made with actual metal. I went with copper because it looks more like true rose gold than the pinker rose gold version. I love to wear it when working out especially!
Just updated my @ww app and I’m excited about the #wellnesswins! Obviously weight loss and fitness are the main prize, but working towards redeeming other prizes is a great incentive!

October Measurements
Pretty cool to compare where I am now opposed to where I was in February when I restarted things after a sizeable gain following the holidays (which I hoping planning to avoid this year) or even to look back at January 2017 (in red) which is when I started Weight Watchers.
I’m now 3 weeks into sleeping with my phone charging in the guest room and it’s made such a difference. I’m falling asleep earlier, sleeping better, and getting out of bed sooner because I have to go into the other room to shut off the alarm.
For most of this timeframe I’ve completely kept my phone out of the bed and it’s great. I have been able to notice my mind look for an excuse to check my phone which could lead to me getting lost in a rabbit hole or mindless scrolling.
“They” say it takes 21 days to break a habit, I know I’m not fully “cured” but I am on my way!
My Body Pump initial instructor training is a week from Saturday. Yesterday I was sent the new release and my assigned tracks to learn: 5 – Triceps and 6 – Biceps.
I did the whole release as a student then watched and took notes yesterday. Today I did tracks 5 & 6 three times with my verbal cues. I feel really great about Triceps and only need to fine tune my cues for Biceps. It’s crazy how it all sort of comes to you while you are doing it.
Regardless practice makes perfect and I plan to get these tracks in at least 25 more times before the training weekend!

I need to work on staying in my allotted @ww points and I have a goal of 5 blue dot days a week. My fitness has been on point, but I know that only counts towards 20% of weight loss.
