Yesterday at the gym I wanted to warm up and get some steps in (#fitbit) before class with Trainer Dan, but all the treadmills were taken. I decided to get on an arc trainer because I’ve seen many of you post about them. Umm yeah, no me gusta. I couldn’t tell if I was going forward or backwards and I felt like I wasn’t covering as much distance as I do on a treadmill.
After 5 minutes I jumped off and decided to walk laps around the treadmills. Since I was trying to get my steps in I figured might as well keep moving. People looked at me like I was crazy as a circled a bank of 10 treadmills like a hungry tigeress. Once someone did get off I was able to pounce on one!
Wow that was easier than I expected! Lets see how they hold up this week…
Tonight while looking in my fridge I decided to combine two things I love.
Eggs. AND Wasa crackers with tomato and avocado.
I ended up lightly scrambling some eggs and then put them on 4 Wasa crackers where I used 2 slices of baby swiss (½ piece of cheese per cracker) and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese then cut up some cherry tomatoes and half an avocado and put them on top bruschetta style. Finished it off with some salt and pepper.

When I used to live in Alabama and have to be outside for work (working new student orientation) in the dead of summer was just asking for heat stroke. My old boss always had us have “All Water Wednesdays” before our afternoon of being outside to keep us hydrated. He would literally throw away soda, coffee, juice if he saw it. He’d allow Gatorade or like crystal light, but his preference was for us to drink straight H2O.
I am re-instituting my own ALL WATER WEDNESDAYS and encourage you all to follow suit. Some of you said you want to, but can’t part with your morning coffee/caffiene. I’m a coffee drinker too (I plan to resist on Wednesdays), but you know what – I’d rather you start your day with caffeine if you need and then spend the rest of your Wednesday only drinking water. Don’t let your caffeine addiction keep you from hydrating well on Wednesdays.

I just put on all the pants and jeans in my closet and then hung them by fit as opposed to style. So now I know based on my current weight/body which of my pants are baggy/fit well/still tight. Ultimately trying all my pants on at once helped me feel good about the ones that fit or are baggy which lessened the blow of the pants that are too tight.
